How It All Began
Adrian and Letisha's story started in a way that feels almost like it was meant to be. He was leaving a meeting in London, about to meet some friends, and there, Letisha was, out with her. "I noticed her instantly, and to be honest, I was a bit taken aback by how stunning she was. So, I just walked up to her, completely not expecting what happened next," he recalls. Letisha laughs at the memory. It didn't take long for them to connect. They talked and laughed as if they'd known each other for years. Letisha remembers that moment vividly. "He was a little nervous, but it was sweet," she said. "He wasn't trying too hard—he was just real, and I liked that about him right away."
What started as a spontaneous chat turned into something neither of them could have predicted—a love that felt natural, easy, and right.
The Moment It Felt Special
It did not take long for Adrian to see that Letisha was?special. "Honestly, I knew after our first conversation," he?confesses. "It was one of those moments where?everything felt effortless, like we had known each other forever."
Letisha felt the same way. She liked that Adrian listened, that he noticed the little things, and that there was a sort of calm but assertive energy in him. "He just made me so?comfortable," she says. From the beginning, their?relationship felt like something special — like they'd found exactly what they hadn't known they were looking for.
The Morocco Proposal
Adrian and Letisha have one great love,?and that's travelling. They'd checked 28 countries off between the two of them, but Adrian knew there was one place Letisha?hadn't set foot in: Africa. So he organised a surprise trip to Morocco that included wonderfully warm?weather in November.
The trip was already special, but Adrian had something grander planned. On one occasion,?he treated Letisha to a dinner and show. The night was otherwise perfect — good food, good vibes — but Letisha was suddenly asked?to get up to become part of the show.
"I was so confused," she?says, laughing. "I'm?thinking, 'Why am I onstage at this moment?'" She had no idea that Adrian planned every moment?of it. As Letisha tried to?understand what was going on, Adrian stepped forward. He?professed his love in front of the entire crowd, got down on one knee and asked for her hand in marriage.
"It was bold, and not at all what?I expected," Letisha says. "But it was perfect. "I'll?never forget that night."
The Ring – Simple, Yet Perfect
When it came to picking the engagement ring, Adrian knew exactly what Letisha would love. "She's always had a classic sense of style," he says. So he went for something simple, elegant, and timeless—a plain platinum band with a radiant-cut diamond.
But?it was not only about how it looked. Each detail had?a story behind it. The platinum?represented the strength of the relationship they built, and the brilliant diamond reminded Adrian of how Letisha sparkled when he first saw her in that London crowd.
"I can't be happier with the way it turned?out," he says. "It's simple,?but it says all about us." Letisha agrees. "Whenever I see it, I?think of us. It's perfect."
Advice for Other Couples Designing Their Rings
Adrian has some advice for anyone designing a ring for their partner. "Take your time. A ring should reflect your partner's personality and the love you share. It's a piece they'll wear every day, so make sure it feels right for them."
He pauses, then grins. "And don't overthink it too much. If it feels right, go for it. You'll know." For Adrian and Letisha, their engagement is just the beginning. They can't wait for what's ahead—more adventures, more memories, and all the little moments that will make this journey together unforgettable.
Letisha adds, "We're in this together, and I know it's going to be amazing."
